Welcome to our South Florida Cool Body Sculpting Page.

Cool body sculpting, also known as Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive form of cosmetic surgery designed to eliminate fat cells.  These cells are specifically targeted and frozen, which causes the fat cells to die. The body then eventually reabsorbs these dead cells, which results in a slimmer appearance and a decrease in overall fat cells. The results from our Fort Lauderdale CoolSculpting process are long lasting, as the cells which are targeted and frozen are removed permanently from the body.

As mentioned above, CoolSculpting is ideal for patients who wish to eliminate fat cells yet want to do so with a less invasive method than liposuction. The process begins with a consultation. This consultation is meant to provide the cosmetic surgeon with an idea as to the patient’s expectations and desires, as well as providing the patient with an opportunity to ask pertinent questions about the CoolSculpting procedure. Just as no two patients have the same body, the CoolSculpting procedure is specifically designed towards each patient’s individual needs and particular body type.

Fat cells are specifically targeted for removal. Common areas for CoolSculpting include the stomach, thighs, upper arms and buttocks. Generally, treating more than one area requires multiple appointments, though some facilities may be equipped to treat various areas during the same session.

During the actual procedure, most patients report a feeling of extreme cold in the area being treated, though this sensation is usually described as being minimal in its level of discomfort. Side effects are extremely rare, but may include feelings of numbness, tingling or tenderness at the area of the treated site.
